Description

RepairPro Inject EPLV is a two-component, 100% solid epoxy based, moisture tolerant, high strength, low viscosity injection resin. It is used for low/high pressure injection and gravity feeding of concrete cracks to maintain the structural integrity of the cracked sections and form a permanent bond or a seal. Ideal for sealing static cracks in concrete and masonry from widths between 0.1 mm and 9 mm, depending on requirements.

Additional Information

Typical Applications

  • Cracks in concrete and masonry
  • Interior and exterior
  • Structural re-bonding of cracked concrete sections
  • Re-bonding the delaminated concrete toppings
  • Filling porous or honeycombed concrete or grout
  • Ideal for sealing static concrete cracks in Columns, Beams, Bridge decks, Floors, Piers, Tunnels, Basements, Underpasses, etc

Benefits

  • Low viscosity guarantees excellent penetration into fine fissures
  • Long working time ensures excellent penetration into the substrate
  • Excellent adhesion guarantees durable bond to substrates
  • High-early-strength developing adhesive and durable repair with good mechanical properties
  • Improves workability, adhesion & bond strength
  • It is highly penetrative and cures to form a permanent and rigid seal against the ingress of corrosive fluids and gases and is capableof restoring structural integrity to concrete elements
  • RepairPro Inject EPLV (once fully cured) will resist hydrostatic pressure and block penetration of deleterious substances
  • Solvent free - Can generally be used in confined spaces without ventilation

Substrate Preparation

The substrate must be clean, solid, dry and free from oils, grease, residual paint (any old coatings) and other surface treatments. Cracks must be cleaned to remove dust by using vacuum/compressed air

Product Preparation

The two components of RepairPro Inject EPLV, must be mixed together. Pour component B into component A with a low-speed heavy duty drill (for large quantities), avoiding the formation of air bubbles, until the mix is completely homogeneous. Do not use partial quantities of the parts as this may produce an imbalance in the proportions which could lead to incomplete hardening of RepairPro Inject EPLV.

RepairPro Inject EPLV is designed for the application with 2 component injection machines, where the mixing happens within the nozzle

The cracks must be free of dirt and dust. The sides of the cracks may be damp (except for gravity feed application) but must be clean. Before the injection application, plan the position of the entry ports/nipples acc. to width and depth of cracks
